Can I bring a dog?

You take breaks whenever you like. You can camp onsite from Friday evening and throughout the weekend there will be food, drinks, entertainment and a chance to mingle with fellow runners.
What is the minimum age to race?
The minimum age for participants to take part in HARP24 is aged 16. Unfortunately there is no flexibility on this.
Can I defer my entry?
Yes we can defer your place to next year, that’s not a problem. We will make a note of your order and automatically add you to next year’s list. Please note you are only able to defer a maximum of one time, unless in exceptional circumstances. There is no charge for deffering.
Are there toilets and showers?
Yes there will be toilets and showers on site for all runners to use. You can use these free of charge.
Is there food to buy at the event or will I need to bring/cook my own?
There will be food trucks on site, so you’ll have plenty of options to buy food. However, it’s always a good idea to bring something for breakfast or supper if you’d prefer not to spend too much.
What happens if I register for charity entry and don't hit my target?
We would ask that if you choose the charity entry option, that you think you can raise this amount – we are always on hand to help support you with fundraising ideas. If by 3 weeks before the event, you have not raised 50% of the fundraising target, you will either have to pay the remainder amount that is outstanding, or run the risk that we will have to make the unfortunate call to cancel your place.
As the fundraising option is much cheaper, we also need to make sure there are some rules in place for this in order to keep it fair for those who opted for the £80 entry fee.
How does the money raised at HARP24 help end homelessness?
A proportion of your registration fee and fundraising contributes towards costs, including your event place and branded HARP vest or t-shirt.
The remaining funds go towards our work to end homelessness across Essex.
Can we fundraise as a team?
Yes. This is very easy online as JustGiving have facilities to set up team pages. Please remember to let us know the link to your page so we can ensure all donations are credited to the team.
