Did you know HARP began in 1990 as an ecumenical initiative between churches in Leigh-on-Sea? We’re proud of our faith-based roots and are deeply grateful for the continued support from all faith groups in Southend.

Harvest Festival
Your Harvest donations of food and toiletries are essential for keeping our services going in the autumn.

Christmas Collections
Coffee mornings, carol concerts or retiring collections are a powerful way to give hope at the coldest time of year.

Year-Round Essentials
Our Bradbury Centre is open every day of the year and always needs items like towels, toiletries and clean clothing.
Faith Group Fundraising Ideas
Whatever your tradition, there are lots of ways to get your community involved:
Festival Fundraisers
Celebrate Eid, Diwali, Hanukkah, Christmas or other holy days with a special event, collection or activity.
Share a Skill
Host a cooking class, craft workshop or music session and ask for donations to join.
Breaking Fast, Building Hope
Dedicate a communal meal (like iftar) to fundraising for those in need.
Faith in Action
Link a worship theme like compassion or justice to a HARP collection or appeal.
